Auto Connect Bluetooth Issues Anyone Else?

So my brand new '12 car was working great with my S3 since the phone launched and than just like that the other day it stopped connecting all together including auto connecting - i have to now turn bluetooth off than on and see the pop up bluetooth notification in the tray to see my car available and than manual connect, even more so it will connect via S3 than i have to go into my cars menu and hit connect and finally it connects - whats the deal here???

I tried repairing and everything and still no go - very frustrating

Anyone have a fix?? I know the S3 has been having bluetooth issues that dont show right away is it a Samsung known issue or car related? I would imagine if it didnt connect even manually it would be car related ...but thats not the case, more auto connect issues

Welcome to the ICS Bluetooth sucks club. It is my understanding that ICS has issues with bluetooth. My SoundID 510 headset worked great for several weeks, then BAM! Phone only sees it as "media" not phone. Paring has errors. Can't delete old not connected Bluetooth devices. ICS seems to have major issues with bluetooth form what I have read. Maybe VZ will fix with an OTA.

Same problem with my S3 -- worked for a while, and then suddenly, wouldn't pair anymore. As to firmware updates, the only recent updated I've seen is the OTA for JB -- and that is for the International version.

Note: I really wish folks would QUIT using the reflexive response of updating firmware. These are NOT desktop PCs, where you can go out and download firmware upgrades for your devices. Such updates only come out infrequently, and unless you're willing to ROOT your phone, you can't just browse around and grab them.
