Hello,

does anyone know how to get rid of the auto-correct? while still being able to keep the word bar where it gives you suggestion words that you are trying to type?

--- Gets real annoying when you are purposly trying to mis-spell a word..

Thank You!!! so much

I couldn't figure it out either so I went back to Swype lol.

i have tried just about every combination and it eitehr there correcting it when i dont want it too or nothing there. my old phone.. commando... i could make it where there were words but didnt change it. i would just click the word in the box if i wanted to use that word.

i want it that way. not the auto correct type.. always gets the words i dont want

can't, its either auto correct or nothing......it drives me nuts also, auto correct is infuriating, but i would definitely the suggestion bar

When you misspell a word, the misspelled word will appear in the suggestion bar. Tap it and it will get added to your custom dictionary :)

Took me over an hr to figure this out!!!! You can shut it off!!! Pretend you are writing a text....hold down the mic button next to the space bar then slide over to the gear icon..the shut off predictive text!!!! Hope this helps!!

From scratch, go into phone settings - language and input- hit the gear button next to samsung keyboard - make sure predictive text is on then press right on the words predictive text and all your options come up how you want the language bar to work
