Auto-delete duplicate contacts?

So back in the dark days, I used a blackberry. And that POS would wreak havoc on my contacts list. One day, it would delete all of them. The next day it would bring a few back. A few days later, delete a few, a few days after that, it would duplicate some of them... twice (yes, I have triplicates).

Now I'm on Android... but I imported my contacts list from my blackberry. Meaning many of those contacts are exact duplicates.

It seems like this geniusphone ought to have some way to recognize exact duplicates in my contact book and have an option to remove them, so I don't have to go through one by one.

Anyone know of a way?

I do it online with Google Contacts under More actions > Find and merge duplicates.
