Auto-Login! Please make it STOP!

Apple screwed us with this garbage about two years ago with 5.0. Now it seems some dick at Google thinks this is a good idea as well... well it's not. Who the hell thinks it's a good idea to automatically kick us off a wifi network because it can't see the internet the instant it connects? Why does this bullshit keep making out of some moron's noggin, and all the way to production software? And why the hell is it not easier to figure out how to disable it? Can someone PLEASE tell me how to make it stop booting me from networks telling me "Sign-in Required"? I didn't ask for this crap, and I sure don't want it. Apple's used to be simple. There was a Auto-Login slider inside the individual wifi network setup. Then, for no good reason at all, in 5.0, they removed it and turned my $500 iPad into even more of a paperweight than it already was. I work in the IT field, and I OFTEN need to be connected to routers that don't yet have a live internet connection backing them, and I'm so damn sick of big brother disconnecting me!

As far as I know that only shoes up if the network is redirecting you to a Web based login. It's not built into the phone. If I'm logged in to my router and I pull the I internet wire off it, I just get an exclamation point next to my WiFi signal indicator. Nothing more. It doesn't render it useless. Is it your Google account requesting login?

No, it isn't google. I wish it was. It logs onto a router, and within 10 to 15 seconds, it disconnects again. Then when I go to the wifi list, that network says "Sign-in Required". Then if I connect to it again, it'll stay logged on to it for some time. It may log me off again after an extended period, but I don't know cuz I'm usually done with what I need to do after about 20 minutes. I understand about the pulling the internet feed while logged on... but try this... go in and hit "Forget Network". Then pull the internet from your router and reboot the router to zero out the ISP's info. Then try to connect to it and see what happens... I guess now I'm curious if it's only my phone doing it...

I'm going to help you and everyone else with this problem... Its been a problem I've had forever and it's sprints connection optimizer. Go find that program in aps section and uninstall updates. This stupid progam was also eating up all my battery life as well. What this program does is exactly what's bothering you. The old version doesnt do this....
