Help Auto-Reject All Calls on Marshmallow

I use Google Hangouts and Google Voice for all of my calling and texting. No one has my real phone number. For example, if my cell phone's real number is 212-555-1212, the only number that people see is one of my GV or GH numbers (e.g. 212-555-2323 or 212-555-3434).

Previously, on an earlier version of Lollipop, one could set all calls to the cell phone number to auto-reject (not just specific calls) using the native Phone app. This would prevent me from receiving any unsolicited calls since those calls all would be to the cell phone's real number and not my GV or GH numbers. This option is no longer available in either my wife's phone (running Lollipop 5.1.1) or my phone (running Marshmallow 6.0.1). Does anyone know how if this specific feature is available in Marshmallow? If not, can anyone recommend a third-party app which can do this?

For clarification, the exact name of the feature is "Auto-Reject Mode." I have attached a screen shot of the settings option on my friend's Note 4 running an earlier version of Lollipop.

Samsung tend to alter the menus more than anyone else, and I don't have a Samsung phone, but do you have "call barring" options? On my phone these include barring incoming as well as outgoing, and "all incoming" is an option.

Settings / apps / call settings / call rejection / auto reject mode / All Calls

You can add a message if you like:​

Settings / apps / call settings / call rejection / auto reject mode / Rejection Messages
hit '+' sign and type in what you want:
" this phone does NOT accept any incoming calls "

you can also have it set to reject any call that is NOT in your Contact List.

Samsung has made it easy to use..... I like Samsung's menus, straight forward, and they work.

@Hadron - Unfortunately, there is no barring option within Marshmallow.

@AZgl1500 - Thank you for this. I think my colleague has Verizon and your settings match his.

I've attached two more screen shots. The first one is the current Call Blocking option within the native phone app of Marshmallow. The only two options available under Call Blocking are "Block List" and "Call-reject messages." Block list, as the screen shot shows, only has the option to block calls from the current call log and contacts list.

The second screen shot is of a third-party app that is touted as the best of 2016. It has the ability to "Block all calls" and it appears like it works. It blocked test calls from my wife's phone and my office phone. However, one call did get through which I can just add manually. I've also enabled, "Block private numbers" and "Block unknown (not a contact)." The name of the app is Safest Call Blocker. It's free from the Play Store. I will follow up within this thread to update how well this app works.

You didn't say what phone is that, for Samsung, you can auto-reject all calls in Marshmallow 6.0 by:

Settings > Applications > Phone > More Settings > Call Barring

Thanks Pentel. I did not think the type of phone mattered. I have a Samsung Note 5 through Sprint and I am in the US (if that matters). Following the path you suggested, I do not have Call Barring. The closest I have is Call Blocking (as referenced in one of the screen shots in my last post). I've attached a screen shot of my "More settings" screen.

Safest Call Blocker seems to be doing exactly what I need. I'll follow up with an update in a bit.

Try a different route, you should be able to see this in the Samsung Note 5.

Phone > More > Settings > More Settings > Call Barring > Voice Call

This is done from the "Phone" itself where you place phone calls and not "Settings".

"More" is at top of screen, so is "Settings". Once you've reached "Voice Call", you will see the screenshot I attached earlier, where you can reject all incoming calls.

Type of phone definitely matters though. Some manufacturers change the menus (Samsung more than any other). It's even possible for the carrier to make a difference, as they modify software on their branded handsets (I don't know whether any of them change calling options, but in a country where they charge you to receive calls I wouldn't put it past them - I usually reckon you cannot be too cynical about corporations ).
