I just recently got my droid and tried doing the g sensor auto calibrate, ever since then I am having an issue with the auto rotate. Every time I open an app the app will automatically switch to horizontal and will not switch to vertical no matter what i do. I have tried shaking, turning it in every direction, and nothing happens. I do have the auto rotate checked and if I un check it then it won't switch to horizontal but I would like it to work properly, any suggestions?
Nevermind I was doing the calibration wrong, for anyone else having this problem be sure to have your phone flat on it's back on a flat surface and not standing up or on it's side. The directions are not really clear for using the calibration tool.
