I want to know if there is a way I can set my tablet to go into standby/ shut off when it no longer gets power from the dock. Is this something that can be done in tasker?
What I want is for the tablet to turn on or off with my vehicle. I am planning on replacing my stereo with a tablet and that's one issue I'm trying to figure out. I will be mounting the dock somehow in my dash, which will be powered by some ignition source from the vehicle. So when music is playing I want it to go off when the car shuts off. And on when I turn the key on.
I am looking at the Samsung galaxy tab 2 or 7.0 plus, but I'm open to other tablets, if that might be better or if it matters for this issue.
