Why auto startup/shutdown is not implemented in any Android OS official version? I have a chinese tablet that has this done and it works just fine. My tablet has an Android 4.0.4 OS version custom made for it (the tablet is a MTK6575 MID ALPS) and it starts every morning at 7 AM and shuts down at 10:30 PM. Every android device is a little computer with a RTC clock so it should be not very difficult to implement that. BlackBerry has it, other low end phones have it. Why can this be done for all Android devices. It should be a very nice feature.
