auto sync schedule

can i tell auto sync to turn on & off automatically? i want it to be turned on for a minute or two when i turn the screen on then turn itself off whether i have the screen on or not.

i have 'tasker' but i cannot figure out how to set this task.

the tasks i setup already for auto sync are;
Display On = Auto Sync On
Display Off = Auto Sync Off

I thought this would do it but neither one off the tasks are highlighted to show that the task is working now.

I use GreenPower Premium to manage my autosync instead of tasker. Works well. Not sure if the feature is available in the free version.

GreenPower Free Battery Saver doesn't show the word 'sync' on its page, so apparently it doesn't do it. I use the free Synker - The Sync Widget to just tap an onscreen button.
