Auto-updates

Lurker
I've got a backlog of 20 apps that have updates... I turned on auto-updates for all of them and also have update-over-wifi-only off. Occasionally, I'll see one or two apps auto-updating.

How does Google Play decide when to update?

Auto update preferences can be changed under SETTINGS when the Google Play app is running. These will affect newly installed apps, though, and not those already on the device.

Anytime the developer changes the permissions in an app, auto update will always fail. Google wants you to view and approve of these new permissions.

OP, you're best bet would be to update those on your own, and the auto update will take care of any future updates that come your way
