Autocomplete went South of the border

My autocomplete has suddenly decided to head South of the border. Whei
PHP:
sh a Word in English and hit the space bar, it changes the text to something Spanish. English words (like "English") regularly show up as orange highlighted text. Anyone know how to get back to the States? OK, No

Sorry to hear of your problems. If you can tell us things such as what phone you have, running which version of android, if you have an alternate keyboard running, etc., we'll be able to better direct you to the sections relevant to your issue.

I'm using an HTC EVO V 4 G running Ice Cream Sandwich with the Standard keyboard.
 
Found the problem. If you accidentally tap the voice recognition Mic button on the keyboard, it toggles from EN (English) to ES (yup, you guessed it, Spanish) and so does autocomplete. Seems like that should be in Settings, not on the keyboard.
