Help Autofocus Not Working...

OK so,

My Droid 2 hasn't been willing to autofocus for a few days ago. I've even done a couple factory resets, one from ClockworkMod Recovery, one from the phone itself, and it still isn't working.

I looked at that, but it did nothing... I set the date to November 18, 2009, and still no autofocus.

I also tried wiping the lens off a bit with a cloth, I've read about people doing that, still no dice.

I'm really confused here. The phone just refuses to autofocus. Has anyone else heard of or had this problem with the Droid 2 specifically or should I just go to Verizon and ask for a replacement?

We're seeing that issue posted around various forums, with some remedies working for some users devices and some not.

Cleaning off both sides of the lens, factory data reset, clearing all data in the camera module, etc.

Some are being directed to the basic D2 camera tutorial:

not to insult the user (;)), but just on the outside chance something was forgotten in operating the camera.

It was a known bug in the Droid 1, with a fix coming along after a while. For it to happen suddenly in the Droid 2 makes me think a setting/configuration is off somewhere. I'd triple check all that.

Yeah, I tried all that.

And *both* sides of the lens? You mean they took the phone apart?
Either way, though, none of that seems to work. Holding the shutter button halfway down, etc.
