Help Autofocus problem when recording video

Hi all, had my one x now for about a week, coming from the iphone 4...

the problem i have is that when im recording video in either 720p or 1080p it is sharp for a couple of seconds then the autofocus keeps cutting in and it goes blurry for a second or 2 till it refocusess then it goes back to normal... really anoying, its killing my videos !!!

so does anyone else have this problem or is my phone knackered ?

I would turn Continuous AF off for video - if there is an option to do this.

I'm having the same exact problem with my new Samsung Galaxy S3: but it only happens when I have it recording while I'm driving (attached to a windshield-mounted holder). It's like it keeps trying to focus on the windshield but even then it can't. If I'm recording a regular "home video" of something, it doesn't seem to have this problem.
Also, I don't have an option to turn continuous autofocus on or off.
