Help Automate wake up calls...

I've got a tall order.... have not been able to find this.

My GF needs a wake up call - daily. Six AM. I'm not always able to get up to give her the call. We really don't want a service.

Is there a way to schedule my own phone to call her phone, at a designated time... like six AM... on selected day (not Sat or Sun for instance!)

Any help here... much appreciated!

Mmm, ive only heard of automated texts. Will look into this.
 
OP, doesn't the Motion have a Timer/Alarm Android app preloaded? My Droid X does and it's all kinds of customizable. You can set it daily, on a certain day, however you want.

Yup - thats what _ I _ use to wake up. But, what I'm wanting is something to make wake-up calls to her, for me, should I sleep through, or just forget from being in a rush, etc.

You might say, sure, getting up 15 minutes before she has to, getting my shit together, and calling her at an ungodly hour is an act of love, devotion, attentiveness... I say, I'm human and screw up about one outta four days, and unless I call... she never quite gets up with time to feed the critters and shagass out the door to work.

I remember seeing a scheduling/scripting utility a while ago... cant find it anymore.
 
I dont think its possible and also might be illegal in some states. What's wrong with alarm clock if you don't mind me asking? You also mentioned that you call yourself. You are not going to be on another end of the line, so?
 
Alarm has a settings for select days , Its basicly a wake up call.... Just use a alarm! It is the same thing , It will make her up , Or record your voice and say "Wake up honey" or something and use it as a ringtone for your alarm!
 
The problem with alarm clock, is that she is not here, she is away on business half the time up in Georgia, and I'm in Florida.

There is a program out there... I've got to research it more.

what about her phone? does it count for alarm clock?
You really have some weird fetish request. Try researching online maybe there is something like that fot VOIP.

Yeah I am confused on this too OP. If she has a phone, and that phone has an alarm. Why the heck is it not turned on to wake her up, rather than you having to get up and call her? Does she not have a cell phone, does she not know how to set the alarm, or is she just too lazy and wants you to babysit her?

I am not being mean, please don't take the above in a bad way. I am just trying to figure out why this needs to be done if her phone has an alarm, too.
 
 
I had a girlfriend once who couldn't do alarm clocks.

She's just turn them off and never remember doing it.

You had to wake her up. Ger her awake enough to answer you a couple times then she'd get up.


Of course, she also couldn't pour water out of a boot with instructions on the bottom of it. :D
