Help automatic reject list for callers not in contacts?

I am being plagued by calls from robo-dialers. I no longer answer any call that is not in my contact list. The first time that one of these calls comes I check sources on the Internet for the history others have with this number. Assuming its one of these bad guys I place it in the reject list on my Samsung Galaxy S-II. Rarely is the call from a person or organization that is of any interest to me. If it is someone that needs to talk to me they can leave a voice mail. Particularly troublesome right now is that these people are more frequently shifting to new numbers using a lot my time just to manage the reject list.
I would like to know if there is any way, perhaps an app, to automatically add calls not in my contact list to my reject list. I

It is a little more expensive than your typical security app but TrendMicro allows you to add only the numbers based on contact list, call history, text history, etc. I spent the additional cost because that is what I use computer-wide. It uses less memory and CPU time on everything. I do not work for them so I'm not selling.

california has a "do not call" opt out for home, business and cell numbers.

unfortunately political campagins and non-profit fundraising calls are exempt, and also some companies trying to sell you something do not follow the new federal do not call law. in addition, marketing lists are sold and resold, so sales calls may still come in to you.

the number for california is from the califormia state attorney general's office and the federal trade comission as a joint alliance. i do NOT know if every state has its own do not call number you can call into to opt out.

the california number has voice prompts, it is fast and easy. maybe try it anyway, and also google if washington has a different opt out "do not call" number. YOU NEED TO BE ON THE SPECIFIC LINE YOU WANT TO OPT OUT FROM, MEANING YOU CAN'T JUST ENTER A NUMBER, YOU MUST ALSO BE ON THAT HOME LINE, BUSINESS LINE OR CELL PHONE.

the california do not call registration number is 888-382-1222.

If you go into MENU/SETTINGS/CALL then go to CALL REJECTION then go to AUTO REJECT LIST check "Unknown" and that will reject any calls not in your contact list.

As previously mentioned, Call Blocker is a great app for this you can manually add numbers, add from call logs or from contact list. You can also specify what action to take when a blacklisted number calls, your phone won't even ring. Makes automated calls obsolete.

I have my S2 i777 set to reject one spam number using the built in rejection function. The phone doesn't even ring. It goes right to voice mail.

What I would really like to do is not even allow it to go to voice mail - just reject it completely and disconnect. Any way to do this either with the OS or with an app?
