Automatically connecting the open WIFI network

[andrei84]

Hi,

I'm looking for a long time for a nice and simple app that will connect me automatically to open WIFI network

I've tried some of the free apps but in some i had troubles like during the connection to my saved home secured network and others were not easy to use.

i saw that there is a new app (widget) called WAC Wifi Auto Connect. did some one tried it already?

Hi there andrei

it seems that app has a lot of mixed reviews in the market, where as it doesnt work for some, and works great for others. since the app is free you might want to test it out and see if it works best for you. that is one notion i recommend.
it also seems that the app may turn data off and only connect to wifi... which wouldnt seem great. as the android operating system once it has wifi connectivity it will automatically allow everything to run on the wifi except for things that require data IE text, or MMS messages and phone calls.
