Root autorun.inf keeps getting deleted off my memory card

I've used autorun.inf since I got my phone to display a custom icon in windows explorer, and to automatically label the drive when I load it in windows.

But ever since I rooted to frf83, the autorun.inf file keeps getting deleted. I usually set this file and the .ico to be hidden, and I turn off view hide files, but that's not the problem. The autorun is not working when I load it, and the file is not even on the drive anymore.

Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem with my EVO Shift, and I haven't even rooted it. It's been doing this from the very first time I tried to use the autorun.inf file to customize the Windows icon.
