autovoice and tasker

Newbie
Looking for a way to have Autovoice load any app I say without having to create a task for each and every app that I have maybe a variable not sure if it's right but I have a shell script open %application any ideas how I can do this using tasker:confused:

That is the XML of the profile. Export the description instead, it is much easier to read. Or even just the shell script that you found/wrote.

I've been wanting to do this for some time but could never reliably launch whatever app. Could get the package name, but never launch it.

Looks like Joao made another plugin just a few hours ago, AutoApps. Which just so happens to do this exactly! Awesome!

Go watch TaskerbTutorials on youtube. Armando has a couple of episodes that deal with this. youtube.com/watch?v=r_9-TYIt1JQ&feature=plpp Sorry it's not a link. I can't post those as a newbie.
 
AutoApps (AutoLaunch now I think) works great for this. Just set your AV command to the following with regex turned on:

(?<null>open|launch|load) (?<app>.+)

Then you just need one action. Plugins>AutoApps, and set it to open %app
 
Any help in finding the beta for Auto Launch, I'm registered on the site but don't seem to be able to get to auto app/ launch.
