Auxiliary audio output

I returned my Moto G because the volume output of the auxiliary was so low if I listened to anything on my stereo I had to crank the volume really high and then had horrible feedback. How is the output on the X? I'm debating picking one up and not paying ATT for the next program that I started with my Note last week.
