Root [Avail] Can't delete bloatware after rooting...?

sk8man121

Lurker
Hey guys new android user here.

So I successfully rooted my avail (according to Root Checker), and installed ES File Explorer to get rid of some bloatware. When I hard click on the apps and select delete, however, it says "(app name) cannot be deleted!"

Anyone know what's up here? I should say I haven't done anything in between rooting the phone and attempting to delete the bloatware.

Thanks!

Rom toolbox lite is the easiest. Go to app manager, select 'all apps' up top, check any bloatware (orkut, twitter, fota, fcctest, etc) and go to uninstall (root, automated) and enjoy the show.

Do NOT remove email.apk even if you don't use it, it will kill the camera.

Rom Toolbox Lite is working! Only problem is it shows the app names but not the actual file names that are under the bloatware list. Is there a better list for me to refer to?

The apps are the bloatware, unless I am misunderstanding you. Bloatware is apps which are pre installed and normally unable to be removed, right? Or did yours come say with books and sample music? There will be no other files to remove
