Root [Avail] How can I unlock network and use with my T-Mobile sim card?

AT&T wanted to charge me fifty dollars for a network unlock, click! I'm a newbe at loading Roms on HTC G1s, so this shouldn't be all that hard can it? How can I unlock network and get to FlashRec??
 
I followed this post for the unlocking part. Rest of it, not so much.

For the files you need: Google is your friend.
