Root [Avail] Unbricking phone

I was trying to unlock my phone using tutorial from this forum and only thing I managed is to brick it. I can't get in cwm neither in diagnostics mode. The only way QPST sees my phone is in download mode. Device manager sees it on port com5 as Handset Diagnostic Interface (DFU).

When I try method for unbricking with flasher I get message that it can't skip armprg.

Is there a way to solve this or is it ready for service?
 
Yea it should be solvable.

There is a guy in the Merit forums who bricked his but had DFU. He just flashed a working avail image on it last night, so try to find the file he used.

Check about halfway down on the second page of that thread. i posted a couple of links to guides for debricking a blade, and he has a few posts showing the DFU.

He had the "skip armprg fail" issue at first too.

yes follow the guides that are linked on the second page near half way of the thread that out of ideas posted. I used this one to get the merit flashed: [Update] Save ur Bricked V880 and also the IMEI - ZTE Blade / Libra ROMs & ROM customisation - MoDaCo but don't use the firmware files that are on the flasher folder on that guide, use the ones here on this one ZTE-Z990 Avail HowTo's - ZTE Blade / Libra - Blade.MoDaCo.com - MoDaCo specifically the one that says "v1.0.0B29 firmware package" You need to extract it in the flasher folder from above. Since you are already have DFU mode, first connect the phone to the PC while on DFU mode then run the Flasher as "Administrator" and a dialog box will appear asking you for a user name and password click the "!" button, should now say "Administrator", now enter the password "ZTEsmt123" (without "") and the flasher should load, configure the port to the COM port the phone is using as DFU mode. If the flasher says Phone is in Download Mode you're good to go, if not; close the program, disconnect the phone, reconnect and try again, it took me a little while to get the merit to actually be able to flash it, since I suppose your phone is an Avail not a Merit it should be easier to get it to connect. let me know what happens and if not we will keep trying something else.

am pretty sure of if, I know there at Modaco Forums is a similar guide for the blades and its kind of the exact same procedures
