my touchscreen is unreponsive. i was going through some pictures on facebook and it stoped responding. outside butons work. ive tryed all the rebooting and taking out the battery etc.

i have a zte avid.

Could be anything from a loose wire to a defective touch screen to a bad motherboard. The phone will have to be opened and diagnosed.

Or it could be your fingers aren't capacitive enough. I use a stylus. You can make your own or buy one for mere dollars. I've attached mine to the phone with a bit of string.
