Awaiting Delivery

Well thats the phone ordered, upgraded from my rooted Desire.

I was going to keep that for a while on giffgaff but getting a real patchy signal on that within my work, so had to upgrade and go back to paying more each month, but no more than previously used to so it aint all bad.

Look forward to asking many a question, maybe be able to help the occasional other and then to Root or Not to Root that is the question lol

company that I pre-ordered my desire many moons ago has a pre-order on their site for the phone, so done that for this. They are saying delivery to me on the 1st nov, but to be honest 2nd nov suits me better as I will be home that day and at work on the 1st, but trip on the the 2nd to my nearest post office to pick up aint a biggie for me, especially as that day is my birthday (yeah new phone pressie to myself lol)

Love that looking forward and crapping yourself feeling you get at the same time when ordering a product you havent seen yet lol

didnt want to provide link in case people thought I was advertising or affiliated with them in anyway, thats why I haven't until this request

as I said, used them before to get my Desire as did a work colleague and sent other people their way for other phones since, only problem I ever had or heard off with them was them not sending all the bits at the same time, desire was due to have car charger and additional larger memory card with it but they came at different times and after some calls were made to them to chase it up, but all arrived in the end.

question I will ask on here rather than start a separate thread .... for all my devices, my phones, my archos's even my creative zen I have had screen protectors on them .... people that have had gorilla glass screens do you recommend still having one or is it okay to go without

I have had my Milestone 2 for a year now and I have spent 9 months of the year in a desert. I have one single hair-like scratch of 0.5cm and that is it. I will not bother with a screen protector on the Razr either.

just been informed after I went chasing it up that I will receive my phone by the end of the week not tomorrow as stated on their website. When i pressed the person from the company, they then told me they havent received them yet.

To be honest that timing suits me better, as Im off work then so will be in to receive, but a bit of common courtesy from them informing me and others and modifying their website would have been nice
