Target has also been selling the Awe for this price for a while, at least in my locale. Also, I think it's part of their promotion where you can receive a $15 gift card to select other businesses (Starbucks, Taco Bell, etc) with a Virgin Mobile phone purchase.

Good to know - thanks. It's full price at the local Target here but Walmart.com and Amazon have it for $50.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you. Its much cheaper to get the T-mo family plan which runs on 4G. Just have to justify the upfront cost
