ayway to stop things from booting with the phone

it seems like everything just boots when the phone does..i have advanced task manager to end things that arent in use every 30 min but that doesnt take care of them booting up to begin with..like facebook yes i use it but why does it have to be a running app on boot same for the market

Quite possibly /c you have sync enabled and thus it is loading to keep synchronized?

Most like facebook regularly update so it's less of a hassle in some ways. Most apps though should have a way to shut that off. Some apps though like the calendar you can't really do anything about.

I'm not sure, honestly, if it will stop after a reboot.

You can cancel some apps by going to SETTINGS - APPLICATIONS - RUNNING SERVICES.

If you select something (like Corp Calendar if you don't use it) you can stop its associated services. I tested it on Corp Calender, and after killing it with Advanced Task Killer it hasn't restarted (I haven't rebooted). Although that's really the only app that it may work with (unless you have a 3rd party app that has a boot setup).

I didn't have my phone w/ me at the time.

It does come back, FYI, after a reboot if you stop services.
