Apps [B instead of byte[]

[B is not a type. I honestly dont know what to tell you here. The second method signature is invalid. What device is it on?
the 1st and the 2nd method both are on different HTC devices.
the 1st one is on HTC Desire S, ...
the 2nd one is on HTC Desire HD, HTC Evo Design 4G...
I dont know why
But the above code snippet works well with the 1st signature, and does NOT work with the 2nd one.

That's really odd. Im unfortunately not sire what to tell you. I can only suggest asking over at xda-developers to see what the more rom centric guys have to say. From an app dev perspective, you dont seem to be doing anything wrong.
