back button doesnt lit up

Just bought my s5 a weak ago and today my back button light doesnt lit up[only back button]but the other button light up.what the solution thx

If it's only been a week, Take it back and replace it.
Sounds like a hardware issue

Its on and off,sometimes its off sometimes its on and yeah i think its an hardware issue

Bad connection to the led.
Take it back for an exchange.

Are you using power saving mode? They get disabled by default when power saving mode is enabled.
