back light and previous page buttons not lighting up

hi, i was wondering if anybody else has experienced the sams problem that i am getting, the problem is that every time i press any of the back or previous buttons it does not light up, also does anyone use a in car charger, if so does it charge the phone, as my phone seems to to charge when trying to charge in the car, i can charge my other samsung phones that i had including the samsung galaxt ace 1 and 2

The core prime does not have back lit buttons.
