Back of the htc one s

I haven't looked at the back of the phone a lot but recently ive noticed the top part is a lot lighter than the lower part, not just the removable piece but all the way until the lettering "HTC" not sure if this is all phones or just mine because of the way I hold it.

Just checked and mine is the same shade all over the back.

Don't know why yours is different

The metal one s all have a gradient on the back.
