I haven't had a smart phone in four years. I can't afford them. I get caught in downpours and find myself unexpectedly in the ocean a lot. I am on my seventh phone of the year. I do two things with a phone, I make and receive phone calls.
A couple of weeks ago somebody stole the kindle fire off my boat while it was docked at a remote island in the Caribbean. Now I should thank the little %##%$# as I replaced it with a Google nexus 7. This is far superior in every way. Still there are some issues mostly minor but some are very annoying.
Thanks for the wonderful site. As I have been out of the Android fold for many years I regret that I will be a net consumer.
