I had to go down a level in order to root my EVO.... but I am not sure if it will root yours when you go down a level..... there was a thread I made somewhere, that gave me some help and answers... let me look around a bit, and if I find an answer for you I will let ya know. Can you tell me what you dont like about it? If you dont mind me asking?


Edit: I found this link, it may help with your issue. Any time it says reboot your droid and go into the white screen, you have to power off the phone, hold the volume down key down, and press the power button. (if you have a mac, I dont know any other way unless you have vmware and windows installed-thats what I had to do)
