Root Back to stock

I checked in the stickied post for the stock recovery, but I couldn't find anything in there. The SD slot on my phone has died from what I've been able to determine so I'm taking my phone back to metro to see if they'll swap it. Just to make sure they don't have anything to complain about, I'm going completely back to stock. Anybody have instructions and files for stock recovery? I'm grabbing the ROM from ZTE's website.

There's no "recovery". You can flash any ROM you like, but you can't "unflash" a ROM.

If you can find a stock ROM, flash it. That will bring you back to stock.

So the update.zip removes CWM as well?

go to the " all the basics, very user friendly" thread by tolth and you will find there a file called " back to stock.zip " download it it flashes a stock rom with all the bloat and it also flashes a stock recovery and thete is no trace of root
