Root Back to stock

Good afternoon. I have a Nook Color rooted with an SD card. problem is, the SD card disappeared. I want to return the Nook back to stock so I can give it to my kid and use it as just an e-reader. Is there a how to? Thanks

This is so incredibly frustrating. No matter what I do, it reboots into CM7. I can't figure out how to get it into recovery mode to flash the Nook file. Nothing is working. I should mention i'm on a mac

Not sure what you mean.... With the image on the sdcard, it still boot into cm7?

Did you see 4 files on the sdcard after flashing it? I thought one of my guides (back to stock or bootable sdcard) had Mac directions.
