Can you do a nandroid backup of your old phone and flash it to your new phone? (provided they're the same phone of course)

OK. Sorry. What do I need to do to first to "Root" this broken screen phone?? And then, how to do this backup?? THANK YOU!!

For a nandroid, @zixxorb is corredt, you don't need root. What you need is a custom recovery. The instructions for installing can be found here ... http://lgg3root.com/cwmtwrp-recovery/

Be advised, that these kinds of operations can have disastrous results if not performed correctly AND you must assume all the risk when doing it. Attempting this with a phone that has been compromised is exponentially dangerous. Please read and understand EVERYTHING before you attempt this.

Also, I don't know if your mouse will work in recovery. Most recovery utilities are controlled with the buttons , not the screen, not having a working touch screen might be a problem.
