Back-Up Apps

[Corey Bryant]

I have found a few apps, but most are limited unless you root the device.

Any apps that you can recommend to backup my complete system (apps, emails, etc). I know a lot of this is backed up, but I would like to have a secondary system. Mimedia, SD card, PC, DropBox, SkyDrive are some things I can use.

Thank you!

Nope, root access is required to do anything with system or app data

Ok, I did speak with the Titanium - he said it would work, but some functions would not work.

Would that be the best?

I believe They can backup the user installed apps, but none of the data (the important stuff if you ask me) without root

I use Syncback on my PC. Set up a profile to back up SD card to a folder on PC when plugged in with USB. Once backed up only has to back up changes next time. Or just drag and drop to your PC.

I started using app back up, but seems to miss a few (non-system) apks. I'm not rooted, so can't complain too much.

Thanks, I will check those out. I really don't want to root the device I wish Google would give more choices to those who don't want to invalidate their warranty.

Titanium has a lot of features (more for rooted devices) though. So I might think of a few of them.
