Back Up My Data

Just snooping throughout my phone this afternoon...and under Menu>Privacy the "Back up my data" has a green check mark in the box, indicating that my phone is automatically backing up app data, wifi passwords, and other settings info to Google servers. Why would I want this enabled, and should I have this enable??

If you ever do a factory reset or load a different rom it brings back your wifi networks so you don't have to type the pw again.

It also saves probably 75% of the settings (just the regular android settings vibrate=never, brightness=auto, stuff like that)

And a few, just a very few market apps will save their settings using the google backup service so if you reinstall that app after a reset/rom flash it picks up where you left off in the game or whatever.
