Background data on/off widget

I use Extended Controls. It cost ? .Wont show me on market as I have installed it. Well what little bit I purchased it for is worth it. Data control is just one of it's functions. 2G-3G,4G(WiMax),WiFi,Data network,Brightness, flashlight, bluetooth,GPS,auto sync, battery, autolock, screen timeout,hotspot-WiFi,USB tethering,Audio manager,silent/vibration,silent,reboot,screen always on,stay awake, mass storage, lock pattern, language(allows you to change system language),media scanner, force sync, lock screen, shortcut app, shutdown, haptic feedback, volume manager(manage phone volume levels). Plus you have three themes to chose from(you can get more at no cost). You can get rid of the huge black background. And you can get rid of the indicator bar. I have mine slimmed down to the max. I just had to select a theme for each one, opposite of the background, so i could see them when they were turned off(off=dim,on=bright)

Many phones in Gingerbread use the pull down notification bar for quick access toggle widgets. Check if you have that, because then you don't have to install one more extra app.

Otherwise, I'd recommend Widgetsoid2.x.

Hi Usta,

Could you explain a bit more what you mean?

I do run Gingerbread 2.3.4

But when pulling down the notification bar I can't see where you can toggle background on and off.

Cheers,
