I want to develop an application that runs completely in the background, so like a service. Do you need to develop an entire app around it? So the app will show up in the application launcher, because I would prefer if it didn't. The purpose is to check if you are near a location and sends a text message to another phone.
All of this can't be traceable. So the only way to stop the process is to actually kill it brute force, and of course the text message has to be deleted simultaneously, never have send a text message using code before, so I suppose it appears in the message application like any other message you had send.
It might sound illegal to develop something like this, but it's only for personal use, I have my reasons to be concerned.
