Root Backing up A2SD+ SD Card

I am running Leedroid 2.2d A2SD+

I just bought a new 16Gb sd card, and want to use this instead of my 4Gb card.

How do i go about copying all must stuff from the old card to the new?

Considering my apps are now stored to the SD card, can i just copy all the contents of the old sd card to my pc, insert the new sd card, format it with Rom manager and copy all my stuff from my pc back to the new SD card?

What about the Ext partition?

No if your running Windows. Yes, if your running a a Linux distro as it will recognize both partitions on your card.

A follow up question to this thread: I made a partition on SD with ROM manager for a2sd+. I know it's probably (or certainly?) an ext partition. However i'm unsure which. Ext2, ext3?

Heard ext3 should be much faster than ext2

Is there any (easy) way to make sure that partition is ext3 on a2sd+ partition? For instance with ROM Manager?

And in addition: can the normal storage partition (for music etc) also be ext3? (I believe that this normally would be formatted as FAT32) - Transferring files to SD card to/from my computer is pretty slow I think. Around 1 Mb/sec..

I just did this last night, here's the steps I followed:

1 - Create a full backup with Titanium Backup
2 - Copy the contents of my SD card to my desktop (after doing Nandroid backup also)
3 - Formatted the card from the recovery menu (volume down + power from power off, then choose recovery, navigate to find the format option for your sdcard).
4 - Started up again and partitioned using ROM Manager (after rolling back clockwork recovery to 5.2.0 as the latest version didn't work).

And it's as easy as that.
