Help Backing up data to MacOS?

Edit: I assumed he was running Windows, but it turns out he has a Mac running MacOS X 10.7.5

Does Mac have the Xperia S driver, or does it need to be downloaded and installed?

What about apps to sync the three apps mentionned?

Thank you.

Hello

A friend has a Sony Xperia S Lt26i running the stock Android 4.0.4.

He almost lost the phone recently, and asked me how to backup the contents of the standard Contacts application, notes he added to InkPad, and the pictures in the phone.

I don't know which version of Windows he has, and I assume he doesn't have the USB driver.

As he's not into technology, what would you recommend as a simple solution to sync those three parts with Windows, and possibly some online solution so he has a copy when travelling?

Thank you.

Without a doubt, the best way to back up your contacts is have them sync with his Gmail account.

Settings - Accounts and Sync - Gmail- tick contacts.

Thanks for the tip.

I'll send an email to InkPad to inquire further, but what about the pictures he has in the phone?

On the Mac, is the Xperia displayed as an external drive, just like it does in Windows? Is a driver for the Xperia required for MacOS 10.7.5 or is it included?

Thank you.

I don't touch Macs so i have no clue. Sorry. I assume it would just come up as a removable drive, much like windows would.
