Root backing up game so It doesn't erase upon flashing rom

unteagle

Lurker
I have tried everything. Titanium backup data+app, backing up the data in data/data and pasting it and any other remnants for pocket legends but the only way I can get the game is when I do a restore to the old rom image. Any clues what I need to backup?

i assume you are making a new backup of that game prior to to the nadroid backup and flashing the new rom. how are you attempting to restore it?

when i restore my notepad app,if the market has beat me to restoring it with titanium i restore data only. if it hasnt,i restore a batch for "missing apps+data" and the notes are always there.

however,if i backup soundhound, hoping to save my identified song history, its never there.

perhaps you are just trying to save data in a game that stores said data somewhere titanium cant back it up?

i know this doesnt help much, hopefully someone who saves game data can give you some better advice :)

for games i just do a normal backup in titanium, then upon a new flash i select restore missing apps with data. not "system data" just normal data, has worked for me for angry birds, cut the rope, plants vs zombies, and peggle. If this doesn't work, maybe it is a rom issue.

I had to restore backup. Then register pocket legends account. They backup the game data online. Once I did that I flashed the new Rom and it worked. Titanium didn't work because they keep all the game info on their server.
