Help Backing up?

i have seen the Kies app but it has had mixed reviews so what would everyone suggest as the best way to backup their phone?

I use the Google backup in settings-backup&reset for most of it and dropbox for the contents of my sdcard. Airdroid app is another option for backing up to pc
