If you have a windows pc (possibly it's available for mac too but I'm not sure) just use Samsung kies and connect your phone via USB (or kies air) and you can sync then backup your phone to your PC.

About the easiest way to back it up i have backed all my stuff up on kies its actually very handy

I haven't found Kies very useful and there are lots of negatives reviews around on it so persoannly I would never rely on it to backup my phone. The carbon backup app linked above is the best option as far as I'm aware. I 'think' it makes use of the native google backup option that app developers can choose to use but never do. The paid version allows you to backup to the cloud, the free one just to your sd card.

See i have never had any problems with kies ever and have been using it for quite some time with that being said if i ever need to like factory reset i just start fresh so dont worry about backups just have them just in case

As above, no issues with kies. But I also have a tasker profile to backup some files to my sd card so I don't lose some of the silly stuff

How does that profile go? I have tasker but it's a bit complicated for me. Right now just using to put my phone to sleep at night and backing up my SMSs when they reach a particular number.
