Backup and Restore

Hi folks. I just joined your community. I hope that somebody can help with my problem. I now have T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide - Red.
Before this I had a T-Mobile HTC Touch Pro2 - which is a Windows Mobile based device.

I want to transfer my SMS inbox from my TP2 to this new myTouch 3G. I want to preserve times/dates and numbers it came from.

What is the way to do it?

What are you expecting the mods to do? It seems like no one knows the answer. Not sure what you're wanting from the mods.

Do a search in this forum. There was a thread about this but I cannot remember what the solution was as I had no real interest in it. It is out there though.
