Root backup apps before nandroid install?

Hi all,

I've been running pete's beast, which I installed using the update.zip. I'm considering doing a fresh install via nandroid, but I have one concern: will I lose my apps that I paid for, and all the data? Is there anyway to back them up?

Thx.

You won't loose any apps you've paid for, as long as you sign in with the same Google account. Paid for apps stay linked to the account and appear in the downloads section of the market to re-download.

As for backing up app, Titanium Backup is very good, restores the links in you r market so you still get updates and there is a free version too.

I agree with the previous post. Even if you are not doing any major upgrading Titanium is the way to go on a rooted phone. It has gotten me out of jams where I just updated to a newer version of a program and wanted to revert to the previously installed version or a programs has simply stopped working.
