Backup, Backup, Backup...

Is there any backup app out there that will restore settings such as my exchange mail account, my handcent settings, my personalized ringtones, my pandora login info, my alarm clock settings (was late to work because i forgot to re-set alarm after installing new rom) that kind of stuff?

Sure I can get my apps backed up, but setting up, logging into, and customizing the apps is what really takes so much time when loading a new rom.

Yep...

Most likely what you are doing is a batch restore for missing apps with data. Well if the apps have automatically restored via the market...or came pre-installed with the rom then the way you are restoring is why its not working.

Trust me...I've flashed countless ROMs and it works. I'll give you an example:

- Open Titanium (free or paid version...doesn't matter)
- Click on "Backup/Restore" at the top of the first page you come to
- Scroll and click on [ALARMS] Clock 2.2 (I'm on Froyo...if you're on 2.1 it would say "Clock 2.1")
- Choose your latest restore available > Hit OK if you get a warning about it currently running > Then select "Data Only" when it asks you what you want to restore (if its a system app you only have this to choose from, if it is a market app it will give you additional options like "App Only" or "App + Data").

Done. You just have to restore your programs like this to get the settings, login info, email accounts and settings, etc. restored to a previous state.
 
Also...when you do a batch backup, you want to choose "Backup all user apps + system data" to ensure EVERYTHING is backed up. You don't want to restore all of it...but it ensures you have everything available.
 
As UBR stated, be selective in what system settings you restore. Titanium will batch restore everything if you let it but that generally leads to problems with different Roms. I am at a point where I know my system settings well enough that I systematically do them manually (takes only a few extra minutes) - allowing me to delve into the nooks and crannies of each new ROM settings. It eliminates problems and gives you a good introduction to features of the ROM you might otherwise miss.
 
BTW - you can also use Apps Organizer to add more capabilities to the Filters in Titanium Backup...app categories you create in Apps Organizer can be used to filter backups in Titanium.
