I just purchased a Note 4, and also recently purchased a new (to me) car. I was looking at adding a back-up camera. Iniitially I was going to try to do it with a new stereo that I am putting in, so that I can gain Bluetooth connectivity for my phone. I have seen stereos that can connect to a backup camera, but I am finding the installation for a wired camera to be too expensive ($200 for the just the installation of that).
So, the idea of a WiFi camera displayed by my Note 4, seems to be a good option. However, I am concerned about the time it takes for the phone to actually display the image. In other words, I turn the car on, then open the application on my Note 4... then how long to I need to wait for the image to appear? (assume they are already set-up to talk to each other).
Thank you for offering to advise people on this subject.
