Root Backup game data before unlock/root

[danielkeyes45]

Sorry if this answer is found elsewhere, I am new to the N7 and am wondering if there is any way to backup game data before unlocking/rooting the N7. I have seen this question asked in older threads, and it looks like the answer is NO.
I am just curious if that is still the case, or if there has been any new ways to solve this problem.

Thanks

Well i think this app should do the trick for you

DataSync

You should be able to save all your saved games to Dropbox or another device then reload them on.

Thanks for the response. However, data sync says that it needs root, and I haven't rooted yet, that is why I need to backup first, so I don't lose the data before I root.

What about using My Backup or the Nexus 7 Tool Kit?
