Backup internal SD to external SD card? Possible?

Ok I'm finally ready to take this phone back and I wanted to know if it was possible that I could do a complete backup or the closest thing I can do to one from my internal SD card to my external SD card? That way if I ever decide to get an Android phone again I'll have all my apps and settings... Any guidance at all would be appreciated.

easiest thing to do is just hook the phone to your comp ..... create folder somewhere on your HD named something like SDBackup or something....... then copy/paste all contents from the SD into that folder..... when you get a new phone you can connect and copy/paste the contents onto the new SD

That backs up the sd card itself, but isn't there some internal storage? Or is everything on the sd card? Seems like that would be phone dependent, actually, unless internal storage would show up as a drive also.
